High calibre professional training sponsored by the Hellenic American Union Center of Excellence in Project Management will also be organized as pre- or post-Conference activities. This will facilitate attendance by concerned professionals. Attendance of these seminars requires special registration, is offered at an additional fee (not included in the normal Conference registration) and is subject to availability (limited sits available). Conference attendance is not a pre-requisite for seminar registration.
- Basic Training of Certification Assessors, 31-May & 1-June 2008 (13 hours). Seminar Leader : Gilles Caupin, PM Ambassador, past President of IPMA and past Chair of the IPMA Certification Management Board. The seminar will be of interest to people concerned with project management and certification issues who want to obtain basic professional assessing skills. More information is available here.

Seminar Leader : Professor Dean Kashiwagi, Arizona State University, Director Performance Based Studies Research Group, Coordinator CIB Task Group 61 (Benchmarking Performance Information). A seminar on the revolutionary Performance Information Procurement System (PIPS) for the first time in the Mediterranean Area! The seminar will be of interest to individuals and organizations involved in the project production process. The seminar will be hosted by the Hellenic American Union Center of Excellence in Project Management (22, Massalias st. - a few minutes away from the "Panepistimio" metro station) as a pre-conference activity.
