The Scientific Conferences on Project Management (SCPM) which have been organized since 2001, in cooperation with the recently established (March 2007) International Project Management Association (IPMA) / Mediterranean Network (MedNet) sponsored for the first time a joint Conference on "Project Management Advances, Training & Certification in the Mediterranean". Researchers, professionals and firms active in the Mediterranean basin and neighbouring countries who are keen to expand their activities in the area, have taken an interest in the event.
